Gets totally invisible in pure black theme. as shown, in tabbed UI, the file/home/insert/ menu at right edge is dark in dark mode. common, ui, interface, dark-theme, libreoffice-704, linux-mint-193. Version: 24.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice CommunityĬPU threads: 16 OS: Linux 6. these buttons are black in dark mode going invisible. I bet I misunderstand these settings, so thank you for your helpĮDIT and somewhat TLDR: Why isn’t the dark document background (GUI is dark) applied when the system switches to a dark theme. Is there a way to switch the icons with dark/light theme? I would like to use Breeze icons and it would be helpful if they switched to their dark/light versions as well. If that’s true, why is the dark background color not applied? My current understanding is, that when the system sets the theme to dark, LO follows it and selects “Dark” under “Automatic”. When I selected the Dark option under “Automatic” I can see that, e.g., the document background is set to black. Under Options>LibreOffice>Applications Colors I chose “Scheme” “automatic” and for “Automatic” “System theme”. With the dark theme, I want to have inverted colors (or “dark” colors) in the documents, and I struggle to set it up correctly. Under Options>LibreOffice>view I set the mode to System. But how do I use high contrast with Calc (LO 6.2.2.1) I found that the only way to make the Menu bar labels visible (rather than light gray on light gray) is to choose the Dark theme under Tools > Options> LiberOffice > Personalization. My machine switches my GTK3 theme between light and dark regularly, and LibreOffice follows the decision for the GUI, which is wonderful. Windows 10 is set to operate with high contrast.
